Important plan details are listed below. Single-Trip Emergency Medical

MAY BE THE IDEAL OPTION FOR YOU IF:
  • You are planning one long trip or one or two short trips out-of-province per year.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • You can obtain coverage from one day, up to the maximum number of days allowed with your provincial health insurance plan.

NOTE: Exclusions for COVID-19 related expenses are still in place for countries with a Level 3 or 4 Advisory to avoid non-essential travel.

Multi-Trip Emergency Medical

MAY BE THE IDEAL OPTION FOR YOU IF:
  • You’re making plans to travel outside of your home province more than two times in a 12 month period.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • You can obtain coverage for any number of trips of 4, 10, 18, 30 and 60 days each. Extensions and top-ups are available.

NOTE: Exclusions for COVID-19 related expenses are still in place for countries with a Level 3 or 4 Advisory to avoid non-essential travel.

In-Canada Medical Plans

WHY YOU MAY NEED THIS PLAN:
  • Canada’s interprovincial reciprocal billing for medical services is equal ONLY to coverage provided in your home province or territory.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • You can obtain single-trip coverage of one day up to the OHIP maximum if you travel inside Canada for the entire trip.

Expenses related to COVID-19 are covered when travelling inside Canada.

Personal Underwriting

MAY BE THE IDEAL OPTION FOR YOU IF:
  • Medical conditions make it difficult to place you in a pre-designated health category. We can assess individual medical conditions.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • Can customize to your medical situation and include coverage for pre-existing conditions without a stability period.

Non-Underwritten Plans

MAY BE THE IDEAL OPTION FOR YOU IF:
  • Pre-existing conditions are not a concern, you are planning a short trip, and you don’t want to complete a medical questionnaire.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • Applicants age 60-plus: you can obtain coverage for a single trip out-of-province from one to 15 days.

Non-Medical Travel Plan

MAY BE THE IDEAL OPTION FOR YOU IF:
  • You have already purchased a travel insurance plan that provides you with medical coverage and you now wish to include an all-inclusive option.
AVAILABLE COVERAGE:
  • Options include Trip Cancellation and Interruption, AD&D, Lost Baggage and Personal Effects, and Baggage Delay.
